Kelly snorkeling. I think he grew gills on our trip because he was in the water pretty much the whole day every day we were in port.

One of the locals climbed a palm tree and cut off one of the leaves and made us a basket and a hat. He did it in about 15 minutes and did a really good job too.

Another guy climbed a tree and chopped down some coconuts with a machete for us. He chopped off the tops and we drank the milk. When it was all gone he hacked it up and we ate the meat. Yummy!

In St. Lucia Kelly and I got a cab and went to a beach where there were still ruins from when the British and the English were fighting over the island. One country would win and then a while later another would try to take it back.

The beaches were beautiful. We had such a fun time here. We jumped in off the pier and went snorkeling all over the bay. We saw all kinds of cool stuff. The coolest thing for me was an octopus that Kelly tried to grab but it was so slippery and strong we couldn't pull it out of it's little hole.
We saw puffer fish, star fish, eels, box fish, tons of urchins and all kinds of colorful blue and yellow fish like Dorey from " Finding Nemo". It was fun.

These little lizards were all over the place. Even in the shopping areas.

This picture of Kara was taken in Antigua. These kind of shops were at every island. The artwork was all done by locals and some of them were really very beautiful.

Christmas 2004

This year we had Christmas at home and the day after we loaded up and went to Denver, CO to visit Kelly's family it's about a 10 hour drive from Rigby.

Halloween 2004

Kelly is an escaped convict, Kayden was winnie the pooh, Shaleice was a hippy, Shalie was Swan Lake Princess, Kylee is a scare crow, and Kara dressed up like a witch.

Kayden

Kayden was a pretty happy baby as long as mom or dad was around. He hated to be left with any one else and would scream for hours on end.

Kayden was such a little fatty, he was such a cute baby. These pics were taken in 2004 when he was about 6 months old. I was looking through some old files on my computer and came across these. I didn't know how to blog then so I thought I would go ahead and put them up now.

Kaydens Birthday Party

He just turned 4 years old this March. So we had a little party and he got to invite some friends over. He is so funny he doesn't even care about the presents he just likes to have his friends over and eat. His friend Gwendalyn picked out the paper to wrap his present in. It is pink with pretty flowers on it and it says "for your shower". She said Kayden would like that paper and she was right he thought it was pretty too.

Me and my friends.

His birthday was a few days before the party and on his birthday we made cupcakes and he got to frost and decorate them all by himself he thought that was pretty fun, so for his party we made cupcakes again and the kids got to decorate their own cupcakes and then eat them. They had a blast with that.

Blowing out the candles on my cupcake!

Yeah!! I am 4 years old!!
